Nurse Locums Wanted at Emergency Department in Skellefteå

Within the Health and Medical Care Administration, primary care, dental care, and hospital care are united in a single administration and organized into county and local healthcare areas.
The Local Healthcare Area of Skellefteå includes the Emergency Department, the Medical and Geriatric Clinic, the Rehabilitation Center, the Psychiatric Clinic, the Center for Operative Activities, and Primary Care in Skellefteå and Norsjö. Together, these units strive to provide good and accessible care.
About 70 employees work at the Emergency Department in Skellefteå. We are open 24/7, year-round, receiving acutely ill and injured patients who need care. This means we operate around the clock, both on weekdays and weekends. The patient volume is approximately 32,000 visits per year. We are currently in an exciting planning phase for a completely new emergency department.
We are now looking for two nurse locums who want to work with us at the Emergency Department. If you are looking for a stimulating and challenging job where no two days are alike, then working with our team is for you.

Job Responsibilities
As an employee at the Emergency Department, you will constantly meet new patients with all types of ailments and accidents. It is stimulating work that requires good cooperation, as well as respectful treatment between staff, professional groups, and other clinics.
As a nurse at the Emergency Department, you are part of an interprofessional team that collectively meets patients' care needs. Our daily work focuses on acute interventions, and we are prepared to handle acute events in society with broad competence. Patient care and treatment are based on individual needs and take place within a functioning team environment.
At the Emergency Department, nurses, nursing assistants, and medical secretaries work together with doctors from various clinics. Teamwork is a crucial tool for creating value-based interactions between patients and healthcare staff. We collaborate with all departments and clinics of the hospital in our daily work, making collaboration skills and a holistic perspective essential. The patient is at the center of our operations, and we emphasize the importance of the region's established value base. The locum position involves shift work around the clock (including night shifts), and we work according to a scheduling model.
Qualifications
We are looking for you who are a licensed nurse. You have experience working in clinical nursing and wish to continue developing in your professional role together with us at the Emergency Department. We value a high sense of service and responsibility, along with a positive attitude toward your work. A patient focus and a holistic view of the human being characterize your approach.
You should feel confident in both your medical and nursing interventions. You have a good ability to work independently but thrive as part of a team and can relate to your colleagues in an attentive manner. We would appreciate experience in leading own areas of responsibility within the profession's framework. Clinical experience deemed valuable by the employer, as well as further education in emergency care, are meritorious.
